Terms and Conditions

Air Fare:

              Airfare cancellation policies are determined by the individual airlines. Upon booking your air ticket, you agree to follow the terms and conditions associated with your ticket with the respective airline. Sonic Travel and Tour will assist in any communications with the airlines; however final refund determinations will be up to the airlines. Changes or services may incur a name change fee, date change fee, seat assignment fee and/or service charge fee which are non-refundable. Any Changes or corrections MUST be made within 24 hours of air ticket issuance (Distribution of E-Ticket) with no charge, NO EXCEPTIONS. Sonic Travel and Tour highly recommends purchasing travel insurance.

Cruise Fare:

Cruise fare cancellation policies are determined by the individual cruise lines. Upon booking your cruise, please review your booking confirmation. It will contain information regarding the terms and conditions associated with your cruise. Sonic Travel and Tour will assist in any communications; however, the final refund determination will be up to the cruise line. Sonic Travel and Tour highly recommends purchasing travel insurance.

Tour Fares:


     The following tour cancellation charges will apply for all cancellations received based on days PRIOR to departure.

  • $300 - $1000 per person Deposit is due at time of booking (Depending On the Tour)
    • Tour Fee: Up to $2000 Per Person, Deposit is $300 Per Person
    • Tour Fee: $2001 to $3500 Per Person, Deposit is $500 Per Person
    • Tour Fee: $3501 And Up Per Person, Deposit is $1000
  • Deposits are due 150 Days before Departure
  • Final Payment is due 75 Days before Departure
  • These Terms Do Not Apply to Air Tickets or Cruises

Cancellation Schedule

  • 150 Days or more prior to departure: $100 per person penalty
  • 149 Days to 120 prior to departure: $300 per person penalty
  • 119 to 90 Days before departure: $500 per person penalty
  • 89 Days to 60 days prior to departure: 50% of full tour fare penalty
  • 59 Days to 30 days prior to departure: 75% of full tour fare penalty
  • 29 days or less prior to departure: 100% of full tour fare penalty

There will be no partial credit for any portion of the tour missed or elected not to participate.

If there is a force majeure disaster, the cancellation policy will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Sonic Travel highly recommends purchasing Travel Insurance.

Group Air Tickets are non-refundable, non-changeable, please refer to our office for more information.


Group Policies:


Group Prices listed on Sonic Travel and Tour Website is only applicable when the group size reaches 10 people.

For Group size between of 2-6 people, the tour will operate by 1 person driver/guide.

For Groups size of 2 people, meals are not included in the tour fare.

              Deposit Requirements:

              For Tour Fares of $3000.00 or higher, a $1000.00 deposit will be collected.

              For Tour Fares less than $3000.00, a $500.00 deposit will be collected.


Bonus Credit $100: Credit for Final Payment made more than 75 days before departure. (Limit 1 Per Person Per Tour)


Referral Credit $50:  If an existing Sonic Travel and Tour client refers someone to join the same tour, and the referred person is a new Sonic Travel and Tour client, both the referring person* and referred person’s booking will get a $50 credit. (*Referring Person can refer an unlimited number of new passenger with maximum limit.)

Sonic Travel and Tour will make the final determination for eligibility of the Bonus Credit or Referral Credit.


In case of any disputes, the English language version of this Cancellation policy will prevail.


Tour Information 

Booking Confirmation: As soon as you initiate a reservation, we will send you an acknowledgment of your booking. Rest assured that your reservation is being processed. 

Deposit Receipt: Upon receiving your deposit, we will send an email to confirm the successful payment. Please ensure we have an email address for you on record. This receipt serves as proof of your deposit submission. 

Final Tour Documents: Approximately 7-14 days, prior to your departure date, we will dispatch comprehensive tour documents to prepare you for your journey. These documents include a detailed tour itinerary, vouchers, hotel list, baggage tags, and important general information to ensure you have everything you need for a seamless experience. 

Early Document Delivery: Please let us know and we can help accommodate you for a fee of $50.00 per person.




Travel Agent and Agency represented, warrant and agree that:


Travel Agent and the Agency represented will exercise due diligence in verifying the Cardholder’s identity and signature and securing proper authorization from the Cardholder for the transaction. Travel Agent may fill and sign SONIC TRAVEL & TOUR’s Credit Card Authorization form as Cardholder when Travel Agent receives written authority from the Cardholder to use his/her credit card for purchase(s), and only after identity has been verified by the Travel Agent.  Travel Agent must provide SONIC TRAVEL & TOUR with a copy of the Travel Agent’s charge form or cardholder’s written authority upon request.


Travel Agent and Agency represented accept full responsibility for chargebacks, disputes and other non-payments by the Passenger, Cardholder or Credit Card Company. In this event, SONIC TRAVEL & TOUR will first present to the credit card company the charge form, signed by the Cardholder or the Cardholder’s (verified) written authority as provided to us by the Travel Agent. If the credit card company rejects the authorization for any reason, Travel Agent will pay SONIC TRAVEL & TOUR the full amount of the chargeback within 15 days of written notice.



All tour prices are denominated in U.S. Dollars and are quoted on a per person basis, assuming double occupancy in a shared double-bedded hotel room. For those seeking single occupancy, a surcharge applies, and the rate will be adjusted accordingly.

The prices mentioned on this website are for reference use only. All information provided is deemed reliable but is not guaranteed and should be verified by calling our office, Sonic Travel and Tour at 323-266-8988. 

Exchange Rates, Tariffs, and Taxes: 

Our quoted tour prices are based on the prevailing rates of exchange, tariffs, and taxes at the time of booking. As these factors may fluctuate, we reserve the right to adjust tour prices to account for any increases in tariffs, taxes, admission fees, or changes in foreign exchange rates. 

Airfare Fluctuations: 

Due to unpredictable variations in fuel surcharges and taxes imposed by airlines and authorities, we regretfully cannot guarantee airfares. However, we endeavor to provide competitive fares that align with your chosen tour itinerary. You may request updated airfare details at the time of booking. 


Whether you prefer a group setting or a more personalized experience, we have two types of tours available: 

Scheduled Departure Tours: 

Our scheduled departure tours are designed and exclusive to SONIC TRAVEL & TOUR. These tours bring together like-minded travelers who share a passion for exploration. The scheduled tours have fixed departure dates and operate with a minimum requirement of 6 – 10+ people, depending on the season and the destination.

Independent Tours: 

For those seeking a more tailored and flexible travel experience, we offer Independent Tours. With these tours, you have the freedom to craft a personalized itinerary that aligns with your preferences. Choose your preferred travel dates, select from a wide range of hotels, and pick from an extensive list of worldwide destinations. Our travel experts will work closely with you to create a one-of-a-kind journey from beginning to end, that reflects your individual tastes and interests.       



For Sonic arranged tours, we will advise you of all necessary travel documents. For independent travel, please familiarize yourself with the below information. It is essential to ensure you have all the necessary travel documents in order. Here's a comprehensive guide to the required documents:



A valid passport is the primary identification document for international travel. Please ensure that your passport is current and must remain valid for at six (6) months from your scheduled return date. Check the expiration date well in advance and renew your passport, if necessary.



Depending on your destination and nationality, you may need a visa to enter certain countries. It is crucial to verify the visa requirements well in advance and apply for them in a timely manner. Our travel experts can provide guidance and support with the visa application process.


Travel Insurance:

We strongly recommend obtaining comprehensive travel insurance to safeguard against unforeseen events during your trip. Travel insurance should cover medical emergencies, trip cancellations or interruptions, lost baggage, and other travel-related risks.


Vaccinations and Health Documents:

Research the health requirements for your destination and ensure you have any necessary vaccinations or medical documents. Carry a copy of your vaccination records and any essential medical prescriptions.


Itinerary and Travel Details:


Keep a copy of your complete travel itinerary, including flight details, hotel reservations, tour schedules, and contact information for our local representatives. Share these details with a trusted family member or friend in case of emergencies.


International Driving Permit (IDP):


If you plan to drive during your travels, check if you need an International Driving Permit and apply for one before departing.


Other Documentation:


Certain destinations may require additional documentation, such as proof of onward travel, invitation letters, or proof of sufficient funds. Verify the specific requirements for your destination and have all relevant documents ready.


Digital Copies:


Create digital copies of all essential documents and store them securely online or in your email. This way, you can access them even if your physical documents are lost or stolen.
