Upon arrival in Fengdu, disembark to explore Fengdu Ghost City. Beyond being a place associated with folk legends of the underworld, it is a cultural complex integrating Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism.
Sites include Huhua Temple, Baoshi Hall, Naihe Bridge, Yellow Springs Road, Wangxiang Terrace, and Yaowang Hall, vividly showcasing mystical concepts of life and afterlife.

“Departing White Emperor City amid colorful clouds, a thousand miles to Jiangling in a single day.”
Over 1,300 years ago, poet Li Bai composed his famous verse here. Surrounded by water and standing alone atop a hill, White Emperor City offers rich cultural heritage and one of the finest viewpoints of Qutang Gorge’s Kuimen Gate.

Option B: Three Gorges Summit (08:00–11:30)

True to its name, the Three Gorges Summit offers a breathtaking panoramic viewpoint. From the mountaintop, enjoy a “bird’s-eye view” of Qutang Gorge, Kuimen Gate, the Yangtze River flowing eastward, and cruise ships gliding through the canyon.

Early morning arrival in Jingzhou, a historic city that was once a strategic battleground for centuries. Choose one of the following excursions:

Option A: Chu King Mausoleum (08:00–11:30)

Often praised as “Terracotta Warriors in the North, Chariot Formation in the South.”
Former Palace Museum director Zhang Zhongpei called it “China’s only one, the best in the world.”
Explore the longest single chariot pit discovered to date, predating the Terracotta Army by over 200 years, featuring 43 chariots and 163 horse remains, offering a glimpse into the royal power of the Chu Kingdom.

Option B: Jingzhou Museum & Ancient City Wall (08:00–11:30)

The museum houses over 130,000 artifacts, including the Sword of the King of Yue, a Western Han male mummy, and Qin–Han lacquerware.

This is the only national 5A scenic area in China themed entirely around ceramic culture.
Visit the fully hand-crafted traditional porcelain workshops at the Ancient Kiln Site and the Ceramics Exhibition Area, learning about the complete porcelain-making process and the history of the “Porcelain Capital of the World.”
