Though not as turbulent as the sea, on sunny days, the lake's surface sparkles with ripples, dotted with white sails and circling seagulls, resembling a coastal landscape painting. Influenced by the Atlantic westerly winds, the lake's climate is unpredictable, occasionally shifting from calm to thunderstorms, earning it the nickname “Hungary's Sea.”
