Taiwan Lantern Festival
An annual lantern festival held in Taiwan during the Lantern Festival since 1990, and is jointly organized by the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications and all local governments in Taiwan. Originally held only in Taipei City, the “Taipei Lantern Festival” was moved to all parts of Taiwan in 2001, and was officially named the Taiwan Lantern Festival in 2003, making it a national event!

DAY 2 Arrive Taipei - Taoyuan International Airport - National Palace Museum
- National Palace Museum: The National Palace Museum, abbreviated as the National Palace Museum of Taiwan or the National Palace Museum of Taipei, also known as the National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Museum, is the largest museum in Taiwan as well as one of the Eight Scenic Spots of Taiwan, and a research institution for the history of ancient Chinese art and sinology. The main museum is located in the Shilin District of Taipei City, with a southern compound in Taihao City, Chiayi County. It receives more than 6.14 million visitors a year, and was ranked the sixth most-visited art museum in the world in 2015.

DAY 3 Taipei Lighting Fair Exhibition Area - Taipei - Shifen Old Street /PingXi Sky Lantern Festival
- Shifen Old Street: Pingxi District, New Taipei City, can be considered the earliest developed and the largest settlement. A railroad branch line, “Pingxi Line,” built due to the mining of coal, meanders along the valley of the Keelung River, and the main feature of the street and the train tracks are connected, which allows you to experience the novelty of “passing in front of a train,” and to walk beside the railroad tracks. It is also a famous spot for many movies and idol dramas.
- Pingxi Sky Lantern Festival: Pingxi District in New Taipei City organizes this event every year during the Lantern Festival, and in recent years, it has developed into a well-known nighttime folklore festival in Taiwan, which is as famous as the Yanshui beehive firecrackers in Tainan, and is known as the “Southern beehive firecrackers and Northern Sky Lantern".

-Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village:The main feature of the park is the display of the cultural characteristics of Taiwan's indigenous ethnic groups.
-Sun Moon Lake: A semi-natural freshwater lake and reservoir for hydroelectric power generation in Riyue Village, Quichih Township, Nantou County; the lake is the second largest in size on Taiwan's main island, and a large part of it is a natural lake and reservoir for power generation.

DAY 5 Sun Moon Lake - Youyi Bassi Tsou Cultural Tribe - Alishan Forest Recreation Area

DAY 6 Alishan - Chushan - Kaohsiung/Buddha Memorial Hall - Taipei
- Chushan: Due to its prominent terrain and wide view, every time the sun rises, ten thousand rays of light fall down on the ground, and the sea of clouds formed in the valleys, which is a marvelous sight. Many tourists come from thousands of miles to see the first glimmer of light.
- Buddha Memorial Hall: The largest and tallest seated Buddha in Asia, the Buddha Light Buddha, is enshrined in the hall, which also houses the Shakyamuni Buddha's relics, as well as a permanent museum, an exhibition hall, and a Hall of Enlightenment, which can accommodate 2,000 people.
