Description Features

Karuizawa is a town in the eastern part of Nagano Prefecture, Japan, and is part of Kitasaku-gun.
The town is rich in natural resources, with refreshing highland breezes in the summer, autumn foliage and beautiful snowy landscapes in the winter.
The area is famous for its summer resorts and mountain villas, and attracts a large number of tourists.

 

§Odaiba Seaside Park-
This is a man-made reclaimed land surrounded by the tranquil Tokyo Bay. The park is popular with tourists and young people alike, and is a great place to visit.
The popular Rainbow Bridge and the Statue of Liberty are not far away.
§Karuizawa Old Ginza Avenue-
This is the main street of former Karuizawa. The 750-meter-long former Ginza Ginza Street is lined with historic bakeries, cafes, souvenir shops, and shops for strolling.

§Ikaho Hot Spring-
Ikaho Onsen is characterized by two types of hot springs, known as the “Gold Soup” and the “Silver Soup.

DAY 3 Tokyo/Karuizawa-Kawagoe: Furuhara Street-Karuizawa: Shiraito Falls

※Kawagoe and Rustic Street (Edo Clock Tower): Also known as Little Edo. One of the reasons for the name is the preservation of Japanese culture and architecture from the Edo period. A visit to this unique warehouse area will bring back the atmosphere of old Edo.
※Shiraito Falls: Shiraito Falls is 200 meters long and 20 meters high, and most of the water is as thin and delicate as silk. Hundreds of water streams emerge from the hard volcanic walls and eventually form the melting snow on the southwest side of Mount Fuji.

DAY 4 Karuizawa: Oniwa Izukuri Garden - Karuizawa Outlet Shopping Center - Old Ginza Avenue Church Street

※Karuizawa: Oniwa Daien, one of the world's three greatest wonders: The Oniwa Daien in Kamishinetsu Kogen National Park is an area formed by the cooling of lava from the eruption of the volcano, which erupted in 1783. The hot magma and mud flow of the eruption hit the villages at the bottom of the mountain and caused a lot of deaths and injuries. As a result, a Buddhist temple and a statue of the Goddess of Mercy were erected in the vicinity as a memorial to the people who died in the area.

Nikko Toshogu Shrine: This shrine is dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu, the hero who brought an end to the chaotic world of the Sengoku period, and is included in the World Heritage List as part of the “Shrines and Temples of Nikko”. It is one of Japan's premier sightseeing spots.

The Mori JP Tower, Japan's tallest building, has the Sky Lobby on the 33rd floor, which is the best place to enjoy the night view of Tokyo.
